The findings indicate that innovative, high-quality use of technology in New York’s K-12 schools is more the exception than the rule. ...Technology not affecting teaching strategies. It is worth noting that teachers in both the Rural/Suburban and Urban schools were using technology in somewhat traditional ways, lecturing, and having students working on homework exercises. Possibly, as a result, engagement levels were often low and students were off task even when using technology. Not a panacea.
